Hi Taylor Group!

Greetings from Albany!! It looks like I've been invited to join a football blog(?) Football's been a sore subject in our house as the Irish are tough to watch this year and I live with a disgruntled Raiders fan.

How are things in South Bend otherwise? I was just thinking of you all because Dr. Mobashery was just here to give a talk. He showed a nice overhead pic of the campus. I can't believe it's been over three years since I left there!

Good to hear from you Kristen. I hope all is well. I had heard that AMR had gone through some attrition lately, like other companies, but I guess things are ok.

Things are going really well here. They're keeping me busy! Our company seems to be trying to take over the world. We've opened up sites in India (where Lu is working), Singapore, and Hungary. They even asked me if I wanted to go work in Singapore for awhile. Yikes! Our company name has been officially changed to AMRI (no more Albany Molecular Research) to reflect the fact that we're expanding. But, we're still going strong in Albany too.

I've been on the same project for three years (it's a good one though). Our group is about the same size as yours and I'm supervising a chemist and a lab aide. And I got promoted this year, so no complaints here!

It took us a little while to get used to living in NY but we like it here now. Rich, we have some friends here who are die-hard RPI hockey fans!
