FAIL FAIL.

Doubtless, there will be many political posts in the next week or so. Topics include 1) how big the Obama win will be 2) what will Obama's executive team look like and 3) who is the early frontrunner for GOP 2012. But first...

Look, folks: failblog is hilarious. And yes, it says a lot in just four letters. However, I'm calling a fail bubble and predicting overconsumption in the fail market. It's going to go away and be a marker of the late oughts, just like Sarah Palin, cream-colored Cadillac Escalades and huge Bluetooth earpieces that make you look like an uncool Lt. Uhura. Get it out now while it lasts.

That is all.

Seriously -- Bluetooth? What, do you think, is the ratio of wear time to talk time for those things? 100:1? 50:1?

I'm fully convinced that it's a huge prank conspiracy of America's Funniest Home Videos and the Chinese electronics industry.

Jim,

it is more of a "Win" blog with all of the scantily clad ladies in the ads.

Vince, I promise you, that was a bug, not a feature.

Hey, Vince:

Old movie Hulu alert: "The Taking of Pelham 123". Great movie -- worth the 2 hours.

Hollywood proving they don't have any original ideas.

I strongly doubt the remake will be as good -- not because they will be unfaithful, etc., but because the original (1974?) was such a microcosm of what New York must have been like.

It's also worth noting that the mayor refers to himself as "the second most important man in America" in the movie. I think such a statement would be laughable in our time, even if potentially true.
