Can Obama really help us with more Central Planning?

This is a good article on the problem I have with Central Planning. It basically recaps a 20/20 episode about the ability of the government to solve our problems.

I've said it all along, more Govt. is not the answer.

Obama's philosophy is BS!!

Ask yourself these questions:

Who really desegragated schools?

Who gave women the right to vote?

Who is rebuilding NO?

I could think of several more key questions, but the simple point I'm making.. is that everyday citizens change the world. Then polititians jump on the band wagon to get elected.....

Mike, if you want me to read people like Cal Thomas which I have read in the past and found always far right influence significantly by his faith.

I am happy to do so but in return I ask you to read "The Audacity of Hope" by Barack Obama. I bet you would be surprised.

Rich, out of curiosity, have you read "Dreams From My Father"?

Send me a copy and I'll read it, but I'm not paying for it.

No substantive comments, since I haven't read either of his books. I will note, however, that many have praised Obama's writing and insight into other people in that first book.

It's on its way. I don't expect it to change your view of the role of government. However, maybe your view of Obama.
