Heartbreaking. I thought this guy was going all the way to the White House. Unfortunately, he did not wait to get there before cheating on his wife.
The CNN writers show their age with this tidbit about the man and his days as attorney general of New York...
"Tabloids labeled him 'Elliot Ness' after the hero in the crime drama 'The Untouchables,' because of his reputation for rooting out corruption..."
CNN also reports that many people see Barack Obama as the next John F. Kennedy. No, not the former president but the character played by Martin Sheen in the 1983 miniseries entitled "Kennedy." Interestingly, Elliot Ness (Kevin Kostner) later starred as Jim Garrison in the movie 'JFK' and as Kenny O'Donnell, Kennedy's campaign manager and top aide in the movie '13 Days'.
Freaky isn't it.
